About The Retired Enlisted Association
The The Retired Enlisted Association (TREA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan professional military association founded in 1963 to advocate for the benefits, quality of life, and earned entitlements of enlisted service members, retirees, veterans, and their families. TREA focuses on legislative advocacy, member services, and education related to military and veteran issues.

Membership Eligibility Requirements
Membership in The Retired Enlisted Association is open to individuals connected to the enlisted military community.
- Eligible members include active-duty, Guard, Reserve, retired, and veteran enlisted service members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
- Surviving spouses and family members may be eligible for associate or auxiliary membership.
- No combat service or wartime service requirement applies.
- Members are expected to support the mission and advocacy goals of the Association.
