About the 1st Marine Division Association
The 1st Marine Division Association is a nonprofit veterans association dedicated to preserving the history, heritage, and legacy of the United States Marine Corps’ 1st Marine Division. The Association fosters camaraderie among Marines who served with the Division and honors the sacrifices and accomplishments of one of the Marine Corps’ most distinguished combat divisions.
Who the Organization Represents
The 1st Marine Division Association represents U.S. Marines who served with or in direct support of the 1st Marine Division, as well as associate members who support the mission of remembrance, fellowship, and historical preservation.
What the Organization Does
- Preserves and promotes the history and lineage of the 1st Marine Division
- Supports fellowship and camaraderie among former and current Marines
- Organizes reunions, commemorative events, and memorial activities

Member Eligibility Requirements
Membership in the 1st Marine Division Association is based on service affiliation or support of the Division’s legacy.
- Regular membership is open to U.S. Marines who served with or were attached to the 1st Marine Division.
- Service may include active-duty, reserve, or combat support roles.
- Applicants may be asked to verify service affiliation.
- Associate membership may be available to family members, descendants, and supporters.
- Members are expected to uphold the values and traditions of the United States Marine Corps.
